Step 1: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.

Step 2: Locate the odometer/trip meter display.

Step 3: Press the reset button on the dash of your Tacoma while the odometer/trip meter is displayed. The reset button is usually located near the speedometer or tachometer.
