1. Turn off the engine, remove the key from the ignition, and open the driver’s door.
2. Press and hold the odometer reset button (with a small arrow) on the dashboard cluster.
3. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine and release the button.
4. The cluster display should show the message "ODO RESET?" then "HOLD RESET". Then press and hold the odometer reset button once again for approximately five seconds.
5. After a few seconds, the message "MAINTENANCE REQUIRED" should disappear from the display.
Note: If the maintenance required light does not reset, you may need to take your vehicle to a Toyota dealer for servicing.
