- _Tools Required: Phillips head screwdriver, flat head screwdriver, 10 mm socket, ratchet, extension, funnel, and a new windshield washer reservoir_
1. Remove the Front Bumper Cover
- Open the hood of your Nissan Pathfinder.
- Remove the 10 mm bolts that secure the front bumper cover to the vehicle. There are two bolts on each side.
- Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry up the plastic clips that hold the bumper cover in place. There are four clips on each side.
- Gently pull the bumper cover forward to remove it from the vehicle.
2. Remove the Windshield Washer Reservoir
- Locate the windshield washer reservoir. It is a black plastic tank located behind the front passenger-side headlight.
- Disconnect the electrical connector for the windshield washer pump.
- Use a 10 mm socket and ratchet to remove the bolts that secure the windshield washer reservoir to the vehicle.
- Pull the windshield washer reservoir out of the vehicle.
3. Install the New Windshield Washer Reservoir
- Place the new windshield washer reservoir into the vehicle.
- Secure the reservoir with the bolts that you removed in the previous step.
- Reconnect the electrical connector for the windshield washer pump.
4. Reinstall the Front Bumper Cover
- Position the front bumper cover back onto the vehicle.
- Secure the bumper cover with the 10 mm bolts that you removed in the first step.
- Close the hood of your Nissan Pathfinder.
5. Add Windshield Washer Fluid
- Open the hood of your Nissan Pathfinder.
- Locate the windshield washer fluid fill cap. It is a black plastic cap located near the top of the windshield washer reservoir.
- Remove the cap and fill the reservoir with windshield washer fluid.
- Replace the cap and close the hood of your Nissan Pathfinder.
