To replace the headlight bulb located on a 2001 Honda Civic EX, follow these steps:

Preparation:

Park the vehicle on level ground and turn off the engine.

Engage the parking brake to prevent the vehicle from rolling.

Open the hood of the vehicle.

Step 1: Locate the Headlight Bulb:

Locate the headlight assembly on the front of the vehicle.

The headlight bulb is located behind the clear plastic cover on the front of the headlight assembly.

Step 2: Remove the Headlight Cover:

Gently pry the plastic tabs holding the headlight cover in place.

Remove the headlight cover by pulling it straight towards you.

Step 3: Disconnect the Electrical Connector:

Locate the electrical connector attached to the back of the headlight bulb.

Press down on the locking tab of the connector and disconnect it from the bulb.

Step 4: Remove the Old Headlight Bulb:

Turn the old headlight bulb counterclockwise and remove it from the headlight assembly.

Step 5: Install the New Headlight Bulb:

Take the new headlight bulb and align it with the socket in the headlight assembly.
