* New oil (3.7 quarts)

Part 1: Drain the oil

1. Park your Accord on a level surface and turn off the engine.

3. Locate the oil drain plug beneath the oil pan.

4. Place the oil drain pan beneath the plug and use the 17mm wrench to loosen and remove the oil drain plug.

1. Locate the oil pump on the front of the engine, just below the water pump.

2. Use the 22mm wrench to loosen and remove the oil pump mounting bolts.

3. Carefully remove the old oil pump from the engine block. Be careful not to damage the gasket.

Part 3: Install the new oil pump

1. Apply a thin coat of engine sealant to the gasket surface of the new oil pump.

2. Carefully position the new oil pump in place on the engine block.

3. Insert and tighten the oil pump mounting bolts using the 22mm wrench.

4. Tighten the oil pump mounting bolts securely.

Part 4: Replace the oil filter

2. Use the oil filter wrench to loosen and remove the oil filter.

3. Apply a thin coat of clean engine oil to the threads of the new oil filter.

4. Screw on the new oil filter until it is snug. Do not overtighten the oil filter.

Part 5: Refill the oil

1. Remove the oil fill cap on top of the engine.

2. Use the funnel to pour the new oil into the engine.

3. Add the specified amount of oil for your Accord's engine.

4. Replace the oil fill cap.

Part 6: Start the engine

1. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.

2. Check for any leaks from the oil pump or oil filter.

3. If there are no leaks, turn off the engine and check the oil level.

Part 7: Check the oil level

1. Use the dipstick to check the oil level.

2. The oil level should be between the "Full" and "Add" marks on the dipstick.

3. If necessary, add or drain oil to bring the level to the correct level.
