Park your vehicle on a flat surface and engage the parking brake.
Open the trunk of your vehicle.
Locate the access panel for the brake light assembly. It is usually located inside the trunk near the tail light.
Remove the access panel by unscrewing the screws or by prying it open with a plastic trim tool.
Once the access panel is removed, you will be able to see the brake light assembly.
Locate the brake bulb socket and twist it counterclockwise to remove it.
Remove the old brake bulb from the socket and insert the new brake bulb.
Make sure that the new brake bulb is properly seated in the socket.
Reinstall the brake light assembly and the access panel.
Turn on your vehicle's headlights and brake lights to test the new brake bulb.
