2. Remove the serpentine belt.
3. Access the alternator. Remove the upper bolt and loosen the lower bolt.
Loosen the upper and lower bracket bolts.
4. Remove the electrical connections from the alternator. Label them so you can reinstall them correctly later.
5. Remove the alternator from the vehicle.
6. Install the new alternator in reverse order of removal.
7. Tighten the upper and lower bracket bolts.
8. Reinstall the serpentine belt.
9. Reconnect the battery ground cable.
