Step 2: Prepare the Vehicle

2. Loosen the lug nuts on the front wheels but don't remove them completely.
3. Raise the front end of the vehicle with a jack and support it securely with jack stands.
4. Remove the front wheels.
Step 3: Remove the Strut Assembly
1. Locate the three nuts on the top mount of the strut assembly in the engine compartment.
2. Use a wrench and a socket to remove the upper nuts.
3. Remove the plastic covers on the bottom of the strut assembly.

5. Install the plastic covers on the bottom of the strut assembly.
6. Reinstall the upper nuts on the top mount.
Step 5: Lower the Vehicle
1. Carefully lower the vehicle from the jack stands.
2. Reinstall the wheels and tighten the lug nuts.
Step 6: Test Drive and Alignment Check
1. Take the vehicle for a test drive to ensure proper performance.
2. Consider having a professional perform a front-end alignment to ensure the wheels are correctly aligned, as strut replacement can affect alignment settings.
