Remove front brake rotor Lexus es 300?

Tools and materials needed:

- Jack and jack stands

- Lug wrench

- Socket set

- Caliper bolts

- Brake caliper

- Brake rotor

Instructions:

1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.

2. Loosen the lug nuts on the front wheels, but do not remove them completely.

3. Jack up the front of the vehicle until the front wheels are off the ground.

4. Place jack stands under the vehicle to support it.

5. Remove the lug nuts and take off the front wheels.

6. Locate the caliper bolts on the backside of the brake caliper.

7. Remove the caliper bolts and remove the brake caliper.

8. Remove the brake rotor.

Note: Be careful not to damage the brake caliper when removing it.

Installation:

1. Install the new brake rotor onto the wheel hub.

2. Reinstall the brake caliper and caliper bolts.

3. Tighten the caliper bolts to the specified torque.

4. Reinstall the front wheels and lug nuts.

5. Lower the vehicle and remove the jack stands.

6. Test the brakes to make sure they are working properly.
