Jack and jack stands

Instructions:
1. Chock the rear wheels and engage the parking brake.
2. Jack up the front of the vehicle and place the jack stands under the frame.
3. Remove the lug nuts and take off the wheel.
4. Remove the brake caliper by unbolting the two bolts that hold it to the caliper bracket.
5. Remove the old brake pads and inspect the caliper piston for any damage.
6. If the piston is damaged, it will need to be replaced. To replace the piston, you will need to use a C-clamp to compress the piston back into the caliper.
7. Install the new brake pads and caliper.
8. Reinstall the wheel and lower the vehicle.
9. Repeat steps 3-8 on the right side of the vehicle.
10.Bleed the brake system:
- Attach a brake bleeder wrench to the bleeder valve on the caliper.
- Open the bleeder valve slightly, and allow the brake fluid to drain into a container.
- Continue to do this until the fluid is free of air bubbles.
- Repeat this process on the other caliper.
11. Top up the brake fluid reservoir.
12. Brake test the vehicle.
