1. Make sure the engine is warm.
2. Turn off all accessories (lights, radio, air conditioner, etc.).
3. Remove the air cleaner cover and loosen the set screw on the throttle body.
4. Use a small wrench or screwdriver to turn the idle screw until the engine reaches the desired idle speed (typically around 850 RPM).
5. Tighten the set screw.
6. Replace the air cleaner cover.
If you are unable to adjust the idle, it may be necessary to have the vehicle serviced by a qualified mechanic.
