1. Gather the necessary tools and materials.
* Replacement turn signal relay
* Phillips head screwdriver
* Flat head screwdriver
2. Locate the turn signal relay.
The turn signal relay is located under the dashboard, on the driver's side of the vehicle. It is a small, black box with a green connector.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
Use the flat head screwdriver to release the tab on the electrical connector and then pull the connector straight up to disconnect it.
4. Remove the old relay.
Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the relay in place. Then, gently pry the relay out of its socket.
5. Install the new relay.
Place the new relay into the socket and secure it with the two screws that you removed in the previous step.
6. Reconnect the electrical connector.
Push the electrical connector straight down into the relay until it clicks into place.
7. Test the turn signals.
Turn on the ignition and test the turn signals to make sure that they are working properly.
*If the turn signals are still not working properly, you may need to replace the turn signal switch.
