10. New brake discs
11. New brake pads (optional)
Instructions:
1. Park the car on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Loosen the lug nuts on the front wheels but don't remove them completely.
3. Jack up the car until the front wheels are off the ground.
4. Place the jack stands under the car for added safety.
5. Remove the lug nuts completely.
6. Remove the wheels.
7. Remove the two caliper mounting bolts using the socket set.
8. Carefully lift the caliper off the brake disc.
9. Remove the old brake pads by squeezing the caliper piston back into its housing using a C-clamp or a large screwdriver.
10. Clean the brake caliper and the brake disc with brake cleaner.
11. Install the new brake pads if necessary. Make sure the pads are properly seated in the caliper.
12. Place the new brake disc on the hub.
13. Reinstall the caliper and secure it with the two caliper mounting bolts.
14. Apply a small amount of brake grease to the caliper pins.
15. Reinstall the wheels and tighten the lug nuts by hand.
16. Lower the car down using the jack.
17. Tighten the lug nuts with the torque wrench to the manufacturer's specified torque.
Note: If the brake pads are being replaced at the same time, it's important to ensure they are properly seated in the caliper and that the piston is fully retracted.
