1. Remove the door trim panel.
* Use a trim removal tool or a flat-head screwdriver to pry the trim panel away from the door.
* Be careful not to damage the trim panel or the door.
2. Locate the door handle assembly.
* The door handle assembly is located on the inside of the door, behind the trim panel.
3. Remove the door handle assembly.
* Use a socket wrench to remove the bolts that hold the door handle assembly in place.
* Be careful not to drop the bolts.
4. Disconnect the door handle cable.
* The door handle cable is connected to the door handle assembly.
* Disconnect the cable by pressing the release button on the cable connector.
5. Remove the old door handle.
* Once the door handle cable is disconnected, you can remove the old door handle by pulling it out of the door.
6. Install the new door handle.
* Insert the new door handle into the door.
* Connect the door handle cable to the door handle assembly.
* Tighten the bolts that hold the door handle assembly in place.
7. Reinstall the door trim panel.
* Snap the door trim panel back into place.
* Make sure that the trim panel is securely in place.
