1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Locate the windshield washer fluid reservoir. It is usually located under the hood near the firewall.
3. Remove the cap from the reservoir and check the fluid level. If it is low, add more fluid.
4. Find the windshield washer pump. It is usually located near the reservoir.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the pump.
6. Remove the two bolts that hold the pump in place.
7. Remove the pump from the reservoir.
8. Install the new pump in reverse order.
9. Connect the electrical connector to the pump.
10. Fill the reservoir with windshield washer fluid.
11. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
12. Turn on the windshield washer. The pump should prime and start working.
If the pump does not work after you have primed it, there may be a problem with the electrical connection or the pump itself.
