2. Locate the PCV valve. It is usually a small, black valve located on the valve cover.
3. Use a wrench to loosen the PCV valve.
4. Remove the PCV valve from the valve cover.
5. Inspect the PCV valve for damage. If it is damaged, replace it.
6. Reinstall the PCV valve, making sure that it is tight.
7. Replace the oil cap and close the hood of the car.
