How to Change a Rear Brake Light on a 2000 Chrysler Concorde

1. Park the vehicle in a safe location and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake.

2. Open the trunk of the vehicle.

3. Locate the brake light assembly on the rear of the vehicle. There are two brake lights, one on each side of the license plate.

4. Remove the two screws that secure the brake light assembly to the vehicle.

5. Carefully pull the brake light assembly out of the vehicle. Be careful not to drop it.

6. Disconnect the electrical connector on the back of the brake light assembly.

7. Remove the old brake light bulb from the assembly.

8. Insert a new brake light bulb into the assembly.

9. Reconnect the electrical connector to the brake light assembly.

10. Carefully insert the brake light assembly back into the vehicle.

11. Secure the brake light assembly with the two screws.

12. Test the brake light to ensure that it is working properly.

Close the trunk of the vehicle.
