How do you change the in-dash clock light bulb on a 1998 Ford Contour GL with no anti-theft light?

1. Park the car in a safe location and turn off the engine.

2. Open the hood and locate the fuse box. It is usually located near the battery.

3. Remove the fuse for the clock. This will prevent the clock from being damaged while you are working on it.

4. Locate the clock. It is usually located in the center of the dashboard, above the radio.

5. Remove the screws that hold the clock in place. There are usually two screws, one on each side of the clock.

6. Pull the clock out of the dashboard. Be careful not to damage the wires that are connected to the clock.

7. Remove the old light bulb from the clock. It is usually a small, incandescent bulb.

8. Insert the new light bulb into the clock. Make sure that the bulb is properly seated.

9. Put the clock back into the dashboard and secure it with the screws.

10. Replace the fuse for the clock.

11. Close the hood and start the engine.
