1. Unlock the doors on the car and open the door.
2. Place the key into the ignition and turn it to position 'II'.
3. Check that the red immobiliser light stops flashing.
4. Remove the key from the ignition and reconnect the battery.
5. Switch on the ignition to check the operation of the immobiliser.
