1. Remove the old wiper blade.
- Lift the wiper arm from the windshield.
- Push down on the release tab on the wiper blade.
- Slide the wiper blade off of the wiper arm.
2. Install the new wiper blade.
- Slide the new wiper blade onto the wiper arm.
- Make sure that the wiper blade is seated properly in the release tab.
- Lower the wiper arm back to the windshield.
3. Clean the windshield.
- Use a glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth to clean the windshield.
4. Test the wiper blade.
- Turn on the windshield wipers.
- Make sure that the wiper blade wipes the windshield clean.
- If the wiper blade does not wipe the windshield clean, repeat steps 2 and 3.
Here are some additional tips for changing a back wiper blade on a Mazda 2007 CX-7:
- If the wiper arm is difficult to lift, use a flat-head screwdriver to pry it up.
- If the release tab on the wiper blade is difficult to press, use a pair of pliers to push it down.
- Make sure that the new wiper blade is the correct size for your vehicle.
- Do not use a wiper blade that is too large or too small.
- Replace the wiper blades every 6-12 months, or more often if they are damaged or worn.
