1. Locate the spare tire crank. It is typically stored in the tool kit in the back of the truck.
2. Place the crank in the hole in the spare tire mount, located at the bottom of the truck bed, on the driver's side.
3. Turn the crank clockwise to lower the spare tire.
4. When the tire is all the way down, remove it from the mount. When removing the spare tire, ensure it does not fall, and be careful not to drop the lug wrench or any tools into the spare tire well.
5. To raise the spare tire, simply reverse the steps above.
