1. Prepare your tools: Phillips head screwdriver, new CR2032 battery.
2. Locate the key fob release button on the back of the key.
3. Press and hold the release button while pulling the key fob apart using your fingers.
4. Once apart, remove the old battery by gently prying it out with a flat-head screwdriver.
5. Insert the new CR2032 battery with the positive side facing up.
6. Reassemble the key fob by pressing both halves firmly until it snaps shut.
7. Test the key fob to make sure it is working correctly, press and hold the unlock button.
