Tools and Materials Required
* New wiper blades (Confirm the size that fits your vehicle)
* A clean cloth or paper towels
Instructions:
1. Lift the Wiper Arm: Using your hand or a thin cloth, gently lift the wiper arm until it's almost perpendicular to the windshield. (Be careful not to lift it too far as it might snap back forcefully).
2. Release the Old Wiper Blade: Locate the small plastic tab or button on the wiper arm. Press and hold this tab while lifting the wiper blade straight up to disengage it.
3. Remove the Old Blade: Slide the wiper blade away from the arm. It should easily come off.
4. Clean the Wiper Arm: Use a clean cloth or paper towel to wipe away any dirt or moisture on the wiper arm. This will help ensure the smooth movement of the new wiper blade.
5. Install the New Wiper Blade: Align the metal hook of the new wiper blade with the arm hook mechanism and slide the blade onto the wiper arm.
6. Press Down on the Blade: Apply firm, even pressure to snap the new blade into place until it's secure. Make sure the tab locks securely to prevent it from coming off.
7. Lower the Wiper Arm: Gently lower the wiper arm back to its original position on the windshield.
8. Test the Wiper Blades: Once both blades are replaced, test the wipers by activating the windshield wiper control to ensure proper functioning.
Note: It's recommended to replace both wiper blades at the same time to ensure balanced wiping performance and visibility.
