1. Turn the ignition switch to the "On" position, but do not start the engine.
2. Press and hold the "Trip Reset" button on the instrument panel for at least five seconds.
3. While still holding the "Trip Reset" button, turn the ignition switch to the "Off" position.
4. Release the "Trip Reset" button and wait for a few seconds.
5. Turn the ignition switch back to the "On" position. The check engine light should now be reset.
If the check engine light does not reset, you may need to have your vehicle diagnosed by a qualified mechanic.
