1. Locate the tire pressure sensor. It is usually located on the sidewall of the tire, near the valve stem.
2. Deflate the tire.
3. Remove the valve stem nut and remove the valve stem.
4. Pull the tire pressure sensor straight out of the tire.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the tire pressure sensor.
6. Remove the faulty tire pressure sensor.
7. Install a new tire pressure sensor.
8. Reinstall the valve stem.
9. Reinflate the tire.
10. Turn on the engine and wait for the tpms light to go off.
Note: Before you perform this procedure, you might want to contact your local mechanic or tire shop in case they would offer a much faster and proper removal.
