Tools and Materials Needed:
- Replacement serpentine belt
- Socket wrench set
- Long breaker bar or ratchet
- Short pry bar or large flat-head screwdriver
- Rag or gloves
Procedure:
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
2. Open the hood of your Cadillac DeVille and locate the serpentine belt. It is typically located at the front of the engine, wrapping around several pulleys.

8. Close the hood and start the engine. Listen for any unusual noises or vibrations. If everything seems normal, take your Cadillac DeVille for a short test drive to ensure the belt is functioning correctly.
