Instructions:
1. Locate the fuel filter. On the 1999 Honda Accord, it is located under the car, near the fuel tank. It is a cylindrical-shaped object with two fuel lines attached to it.
2. Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter. Use a fuel line wrench to loosen the nuts on the fuel lines and then disconnect them. Be careful not to spill any fuel.
3. Remove the old fuel filter. Once the fuel lines are disconnected, you can remove the old fuel filter by unscrewing it from the fuel line fittings.
4. Inspect the old fuel filter. Check the old filter for any dirt or debris. If it is dirty, it will need to be replaced.
5. Install the new fuel filter. Screw the new fuel filter into the fuel line fittings. Hand-tighten the filter until it is snug.
6. Reconnect the fuel lines. Reattach the fuel lines to the fuel filter and tighten the nuts. Be sure to tighten the nuts securely.
7. Start the car and check for leaks. Start the car and check for any leaks from the fuel filter. If there are any leaks, tighten the nuts on the fuel lines until the leak stops.
