How do you unlock a factory rds stereo?

1. Press the "Power" button to turn on the stereo.

2. Press and hold the "Tuner" button for at least 5 seconds.

3. The display will read "Unlock RDS."

4. Enter the unlock code using the radio preset buttons.

* Each button press increases the current digit's value *(0 through 9)* or changes letters *(a and b only)*. Press the button repeatedly to reach the desired digit

5. Press ENTER

If the code was invalid the display says 'Wrong!' for two seconds. Re-enter code from the beginning. If the right RDS unlock pin was entered the display blinks RDS 4 seconds and displays 'RDS On" for several seconds.
