1. Locate the wiring harness connector harness behind the unit.
2. Identify the parking brake wire. The parking brake wire is usually labeled with a "P. Brake" or "Parking" label. It is typically a green or green/white wire.
Step 2: Bypass the Parking Brake Wire
1. Disconnect the parking brake wire from the wiring harness connector.
2. Connect a 1k ohm resistor between the parking brake wire and ground. This will simulate the presence of the parking brake being engaged and bypass the parking brake circuit.
Note:
* Bypassing the parking brake wire may be illegal in some jurisdictions. Check with your local traffic laws before attempting this modification.
* Bypassing the parking brake wire may also void your warranty. Proceed with caution.
