- Jack and jack stands

- New brake pads and rotors (if necessary)
Instructions
1. Park your Tracker on a level surface and engage the parking brake. Then chock the front wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling.
2. Jack up the rear of the Tracker until the rear wheels are off the ground. Then place jack stands under the frame for safety.
3. Remove the lug nuts on the rear wheels and remove the wheels.
4. Remove the two caliper retaining bolts using a 17mm wrench.
5. Gently pry the caliper off of the rotor using a pry bar. Be careful not to damage the brake lines.
6. Remove the old brake pads from the caliper.
7. Inspect the brake rotors. If they are worn or damaged, they should be replaced.
8. Install the new brake pads in the caliper.
9. Reinstall the caliper and caliper retaining bolts.
10. Reinstall the rear wheels and lug nuts.
11. Lower the vehicle and remove the jack stands.
12. Test the brakes by applying light pressure to the brake pedal. The brakes should feel firm and responsive.
