1. Disconnect the battery.
- First, you need to disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical shock while working.
2. Remove the air filter housing.
- The air filter housing is located on top of the engine, remove the bolts holding it in place.
3. Remove the bracket holding the starter.
- There are two bolts holding the starter in place, remove the bracket, and set it aside.
4. Remove the starter.
- You can now remove the starter from your vehicle.
5. Clean the starter mounting surface.
- Ensure the contact surfaces are free from any dirt or debris.
6. Install the new starter.
- Insert the new starter and secure it with the bracket you removed earlier.
7. Reconnect the battery.
- Reconnect the battery, and you're ready to go!
