- Flat-head screwdriver
- Phillips-head screwdriver
- Socket wrench with 8mm socket
- New front turn signal assembly
Instructions:
1. Park your vehicle in a safe location and turn off the engine.
Engage the parking brake to prevent the vehicle from rolling.
2. Locate the turn signal assembly on the front of your vehicle.
The turn signal assembly is located in the front corner of the vehicle, next to the headlight.
3. Use the flat-head screwdriver to pry open the access panel on the back of the turn signal assembly.
Be careful not to damage the panel.
4. Use the Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the turn signal assembly in place.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the turn signal assembly.
Press down on the release tab and pull the connector apart.
6. Remove the old turn signal assembly from the vehicle.
7. Install the new turn signal assembly in reverse order of removal.
Start by connecting the electrical connector, then insert the two screws and tighten them. Finally, snap the access panel back into place.
8. Test the new turn signal assembly to ensure it is working properly.
Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position and activate the turn signal. The new turn signal should blink normally.
Note: Please ensure you purchase the right turn signal assembly that fits your vehicle model. There might be small variations depending on the trim and options of your specific 2003 Ford F-350.
