1. Purchase an OBDII scanner.
2. Connect the scanner to the vehicle's diagnostic port.
3. Access the scanner's menu and go to the "Codes" section.
4. Select the check engine code(s) that you wish to delete and press the "Delete".
5. Disconnect the scanner from the vehicle.
6. Ignition Turn the key to the "On" position, do not start the vehicle.
7. Leave the vehicle on for 1 minute, then turn the key to the "Off" position.
8. Start the vehicle and allow it to run for 1 minute.
9. Check to make sure that the check engine light has turned off.
