1. Park the vehicle on level ground and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood and locate the clutch cable. It is a black, braided cable that runs from the clutch pedal to the transmission.
3. There is an adjuster at the end of the cable near the transmission.
4. Use a 14 mm wrench or ratcheting wrench to turn the adjuster until there is a slight gap between the clutch fork and the release bearing.
6. Test the clutch by pushing down on the clutch pedal. It should travel about halfway to the floor before engaging.
7. If the clutch pedal is engaging too high or too low, adjust the adjuster until the desired engagement point is achieved.
8. Once the clutch is adjusted properly, close the hood and start the engine. Test the clutch by shifting into first gear and driving the vehicle. The clutch should engage smoothly and without slipping.
