Time Needed - 2-4 Hours
* Lug wrench
* Jack and jack stands
* Socket wrench set
* Flathead screwdriver
* Pry bar
* Hammer
* New wheel bearing assembly
* Grease
* Brake cleaner
* Safety glasses
1. Loosen the lug nuts on the front wheel slightly, then raise the vehicle with a jack and place it on jack stands.
2. Remove the lug nuts and take off the wheel.
3. Remove the brake caliper using a socket wrench.
4. Remove the two bolts holding the rotor to the hub using a socket wrench.
5. Remove the rotor from the hub.
6. Remove the grease cap and seal from the wheel bearing assembly using a flathead screwdriver and pry bar.
7. Remove the outer wheel bearing from the spindle using a hammer.
8. Clean the spindle and inside of the wheel bearing assembly using brake cleaner.
9. Pack the new wheel bearing with grease.
10. Install the new wheel bearing assembly into the hub and secure it in place with the two bolts.
11. Install the rotor on the hub and secure it in place with the two bolts.
12. Install the brake caliper and reinstall the lug nuts.
13. Lower the vehicle and fully tighten the lug nuts.
14. Test drive the vehicle to ensure the wheel bearing is working properly.
