Instructions:
1.Park the car on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2.Locate the clutch adjustment nut on the transmission bell housing. It is located on the driver's side of the transmission, just below the starter motor.
3Loosen the locknut on the clutch adjustment nut with a 13 mm wrench.
4Turn the clutch adjustment nut with a 17 mm wrench until the free play in the clutch pedal is between 1/4 and 1/2 inch.
5Hold the clutch adjustment nut in place with a 17 mm wrench and tighten the locknut with a 13 mm wrench.
6Test the clutch pedal by depressing it several times. The pedal should move smoothly and have a firm feel.
If necessary, repeat steps 4 and 5 until the clutch pedal is adjusted correctly.
