1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the serpentine belt.
3. Remove the viscous fan.
4. Remove the front timing cover.
5. Remove the old timing chain tensioner.
6. Clean the timing chain tensioner mounting surface.
7. Apply a thin coat of sealant to the timing chain tensioner mounting surface.
8. Install the new timing chain tensioner.
9. Tighten the timing chain tensioner bolts to the specified torque.
10. Install the front timing cover.
11. Reinstall the viscous fan.
12. Reinstall the serpentine belt.
13. Connect the battery.
14. Start the engine and check for any leaks.
