- Jack and jack stands
- Lug wrench

- New brake pads and rotors
Procedure
1. Park the car on a level surface and engage the parking brake. If you don’t have parking brake, make sure you chock the wheels.
2. Jack up the rear of the car and place the jack stands under the frame. Leave the jack in place to help stabilize the car.
3. Remove the lug nuts and take off the wheels.
4. Remove the two bolts holding the caliper in place.
5. Remove the caliper and hang it from the suspension with a piece of wire or a bungee cord.
6. Remove the old brake pads and rotors.
7. Inspect the caliper for damage and replace any worn or damaged parts.
8. Clean the caliper and rotor mating surfaces with brake cleaner.
9. Install the new brake rotors.
10. Install the new brake pads.
11. Replace the caliper and tighten the bolts.
12. Replace the wheels and lug nuts.
13. Lower the car and remove the jack stands.
14. Pump the brake pedal several times to seat the new brake pads.
15. Test the brakes by driving the car at a low speed and making sure that they stop smoothly and evenly.
