1. Gather your tools and materials.
* New headlight bulb (check your owner's manual for the correct size)
* Socket wrench set
* Phillips head screwdriver
* Flathead screwdriver
2. Open the hood of your car.
* Locate the release lever inside your car, usually on the driver's side footwell.
* Pull the release lever and lift the hood.
* Secure the hood with the prop rod.
3. Locate the headlight assembly.
* The headlight assembly is located at the front of your car, on either side of the grille.
* It is usually held in place by several screws or bolts.
4. Remove the headlight assembly.
* Use the socket wrench to remove the screws or bolts that hold the headlight assembly in place.
* Carefully lift the headlight assembly out of the car.
5. Remove the old headlight bulb.
* Locate the old headlight bulb in the back of the headlight assembly.
* Use the Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the screws or clips that hold it in place.
* Remove the old bulb from the socket.
6. Install the new headlight bulb.
* Insert the new bulb into the socket in the headlight assembly.
* Secure the bulb with the screws or clips that you removed in the previous step.
7. Reinstall the headlight assembly.
* Carefully insert the headlight assembly back into the car.
* Secure it with the screws or bolts that you removed in step 4.
8. Close the hood of your car.
* Lower the hood and release the prop rod.
* Close the hood and make sure it is latched securely.
Note: If the new headlight bulb does not work, check to make sure that it is properly seated in the socket and that the connections are secure. If the bulb still does not work, there may be a problem with the wiring.
