1. Gather your materials. You will need:
* A jack and jack stands
* A lug wrench
* A brake bleeder wrench
* A clear hose
* A container for brake fluid
* DOT 3 brake fluid
2. Prepare the car. Park the car on a level surface and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake.
3. Jack up the car. Place the jack under the front of the car and raise it until the front wheels are off the ground. Place the jack stands under the car for safety.
4. Locate the brake bleeder screws. The brake bleeder screws are located on the calipers. There is one bleeder screw on each caliper.
5. Attach the hose to the bleeder screw. Place the end of the hose over the bleeder screw and tighten it securely.
6. Open the bleeder screw. Use the brake bleeder wrench to open the bleeder screw 1/4 turn.
7. Pump the brake pedal. Have a helper pump the brake pedal several times. This will force brake fluid through the hose and out the bleeder screw.
8. Repeat steps 5-7 until no more air bubbles come out of the hose. Continue bleeding the brakes until only clear brake fluid comes out of the hose.
9. Close the bleeder screw. Tighten the bleeder screw securely.
10. Repeat steps 4-9 for the other brake caliper.
11. Lower the car. Use the jack to lower the car until the wheels are on the ground.
12. Fill the brake fluid reservoir. Open the brake fluid reservoir and fill it to the "FULL" line with DOT 3 brake fluid.
13. Test the brakes. Pump the brake pedal several times to make sure the brakes are working properly.
