1. Open the trunk of the car.
2. Locate the tail light assembly on the side where the bulb needs to be replaced.
3. Turn the tail light assembly counterclockwise and remove it from the car.
4. Remove the old brake light bulb from the socket by turning it counterclockwise.
5. Insert the new brake light bulb into the socket and turn it clockwise to secure it.
6. Reinstall the tail light assembly by turning it clockwise until it is secure.
7. Repeat the process for the other side if needed.
