- New timing belt kit (includes the timing belt, tensioner, and idler pulley)

- Timing belt tension gauge

Instructions:
1. Park the vehicle in a safe location and engage the parking brake.
2. Locate the timing belt cover. It is usually a plastic cover located at the front of the engine.
3. Remove the timing belt cover. This may require removing some bolts or screws.
4. Locate the crankshaft pulley. It is the large pulley at the bottom of the engine.
5. Turn the crankshaft pulley until the timing marks on the camshaft and crankshaft sprockets align. This is usually indicated by marks on the sprockets lining up with marks on the engine block.
6. Loosen the tensioner pulley bolt. This will release the tension on the timing belt.
7. Remove the old timing belt.
8. Install the new timing belt. Make sure that the timing marks on the belt align with the marks on the sprockets.

10. Reinstall the tensioner pulley bolt.
11. Reinstall the timing belt cover.
