1. Ensure that the car is turned off and all the doors and windows are closed.
2. Turn the key in the ignition to the "On" position and then back to the "Off" position. Do this three times, ending in the "On" position.
3. Press and hold the "Valet" button, which is usually located under the steering column, for at least 10 seconds.
4. While continuing to hold the "Valet" button, turn the key in the ignition back to the "Off" position.
5. Hold the "Valet" button for another 10 seconds, then release it and turn the key back to the "On" position.
6. The alarm system should now be reset.
To reprogram the remotes, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the car is turned off and all doors are closed.
2. Hold the "Valet" button for 10 seconds, then release.
3. Press the lock button on the first remote you wish to program within five seconds.
4. Press the "Valet" button again.
5. Press the lock button on the second remote you want to program within 10 seconds.
6. Press the "Valet" button one last time to finish the process.
