How do you reinstall a rear window for 1955 Ford f100?

To reinstall the rear window for a 1955 Ford F100, you will need the following tools and materials:

* Phillips head screwdriver

* Flathead screwdriver

* 1/4 inch socket wrench

* 7/16 inch socket

* 1/2 inch socket

* Rear window gasket

* Rear window glass

* Window adhesive

* Primer

Instructions:

1. Remove the old rear window gasket. Use the flathead screwdriver to pry the gasket out of the window channel. Be careful not to damage the paint around the window.

2. Clean the window channel. Use the 1/4 inch socket wrench and 7/16 inch socket to remove the four bolts that hold the window regulator in place. Remove the window regulator and clean the window channel thoroughly with a damp cloth.

3. Apply primer to the window channel. Use the primer to help the window adhesive bond to the window channel.

4. Apply window adhesive to the window channel. Use the 1/2 inch socket wrench and 1/2 inch socket to apply a bead of window adhesive to the window channel. Be sure to apply the adhesive evenly.

5. Install the rear window gasket. Press the rear window gasket into the window channel. Be sure to align the gasket with the holes for the window regulator bolts.

6. Install the window regulator. Replace the window regulator and secure it with the four bolts that you removed earlier.

7. Install the rear window glass. Carefully place the rear window glass into the window channel. Be sure to align the glass with the holes in the gasket.

8. Secure the rear window glass. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to secure the rear window glass with the four screws that you removed earlier.

9. Allow the window adhesive to dry. Allow the window adhesive to dry completely before driving the vehicle.

Your rear window should now be properly installed.
