* Park the mower indoors on a flat surface.

* Turn off the mower and allow it to cool completely.

*Disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug to prevent the mower from starting accidentally while you're working on the oil drain plug.

* Place an oil drip pan under the mower's oil drain plug.

* Use the appropriate size wrench to loosen the oil drain plug on the bottom of the mower.

* Allow the oil to drain completely into the oil drip pan.

* Remove the old oil filter and install a new one.

* Replace the oil drain plug.

* Reconnect the spark plug wire to the spark plug.

* Start the mower and allow it to run for a few minutes, checking for any leaks.
