Has anyone had a problem with Polaris auto clear plus?

There have been a number of reports of problems with Polaris Auto Clear Plus, a chlorine-free pool shock treatment. These problems include:

- The product does not dissolve properly, leaving behind a cloudy residue in the pool water.

- The product does not effectively shock the pool, leaving behind bacteria and algae.

- The product can cause skin and eye irritation.

- The product can damage pool liners.

If you are experiencing any of these problems, you should discontinue use of Polaris Auto Clear Plus and contact the manufacturer for a refund.

Here are some additional tips for shocking your pool:

- Use a chlorine-based shock treatment instead of a non-chlorine shock treatment. Chlorine is a more effective sanitizer and will kill more bacteria and algae.

- Shock your pool at least once a week, or more often if you have a lot of bathers or if the water is cloudy.

- Follow the directions on the product label carefully when shocking your pool.

- Do not shock the pool when the temperature is over 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
