How can i get glue off of a paint on car from sticker?

Here are steps you can follow to remove sticker glue from a car's paint:

_1. Prep the area:_

Wash and dry the car to remove any dirt and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals, as they may damage the paint.

_2. Remove any residual adhesive:_

Wipe the area of sticker glue with a finger dipped in rubbing alcohol. Use circular motion, and be gentle to avoid damaging the paint.

_3. Use a hair dryer (optional):_

If the previous steps do not completely remove the adhesive, use a hair dryer set on low heat. Hold it a few inches away from the surface and move it back and forth to heat the area, making the glue more pliable. Be careful not to overheat the paint, as it may cause damage.

_4. Apply a solvent:_

Apply a small amount of a sticker glue remover or a WD-40 to a soft, clean cloth. Do a small test area first in an inconspicuous location to ensure it doesn't damage the paint. Apply it to the remaining adhesive and let it sit for a few minutes.

_5. Scrape gently:_

Use a plastic scraper to gently remove the softened adhesive from the surface of the paint. Start from the edges and move inward, working in small sections to prevent damage.

_6. Clean up:_

Once all the glue is removed, wash the area with mild detergent and water to remove any residue from the solvent.

_7. Wax and seal:_

Finally, apply a coat of wax or paint sealant to protect your car's paint and prevent future adhesive residue.
