Instructions
1. Park your car on a flat surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Loosen the lug nuts on the front tires, but do not remove them.
3. Raise the front of your car using a jack and place jack stands under the frame.
4. Remove the lug nuts and take off the front tires.
5. Locate the lower front ball joint. It is the joint that connects the control arm to the steering knuckle.
6. Use the ball joint separator to separate the ball joint from the steering knuckle.
7. Use a hammer to tap the ball joint out of the control arm.
8. Install a new ball joint in the control arm and use a hammer to tap it into place.
9. Reattach the ball joint to the steering knuckle using the ball joint separator.
10. Replace the front tires and lug nuts.
11. Lower your car off the jack stands.
