Gather the following tools and materials:

- New water pump gasket
- Sealant
- RTV silicone
-Replacement pump and other relevant seals and gaskets.

1. Park the lorry on a level surface and turn off the engine. Allow the engine to cool down completely.
2. Place a container under the lorry to catch any leaking coolant.
3. Locate the water pump. It is typically located on the front of the engine.
4. Remove the bolts or screws that hold the water pump in place.
5. Carefully pry the water pump off of the engine block. Be careful not to damage the gasket surface.
6. Clean the gasket surface on the engine block and the water pump. Remove all old gasket material and dirt.
7. Apply a thin layer of sealant to the gasket surface of the water pump.
8. Position the new water pump gasket on the engine block.
9. Carefully place the water pump back on the engine block.
10. Install the bolts or screws that hold the water pump in place. Tighten the bolts or screws until they are snug.
11. If necessary, top off the coolant level.
12. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check for any leaks. If you see any leaks, tighten the bolts or screws until the leak stops.
