How do you replace a fuel relay on 2005 Toyota hilux?

Replacing the fuel relay on a 2005 Toyota Hilux is a straightforward process that can be completed in around 10 minutes. Follow these steps:

1. Park your Hilux on a level surface and turn off the engine.

2. Open the hood and locate the fuel relay box. It's usually a small, black box located near the battery.

3. Remove the cover of the fuel relay box by pressing down on the tabs and lifting it up.

4. Locate the fuel relay. It's usually the largest relay in the box and may have "Fuel" or "Pump" written on it.

5. Remove the fuel relay by gently pulling it out of its socket. Be careful not to drop it.

6. Install the new fuel relay by inserting it into the socket. Make sure it's seated properly and clicks into place.

7. Replace the cover of the fuel relay box and close the hood.

Start your Hilux and verify that the fuel pump is working properly by listening for the sound of the fuel pump priming when you turn the ignition key to the "On" position. If you hear the fuel pump priming, the fuel relay has been replaced successfully.
